Northern Cupids

The story of five Bashkirs who have to go through two wars – the Russian-Swedish and the Patriotic War of 1812. The French called them Northern Cupids in honor of the deity of love, Cupid, because the horsemen were armed with bows and arrows. They unexpectedly attacked the enemy and just as sharply went to the rear, remaining elusive.
